Steam & Beer (& Diesel) 2024

Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024

Steam & Beer will be held on last weekend in June (29/30th) with live music from midday until late on the Saturday and live music until 6pm on Sunday.

There will be a barbecue serving locally sourced hot dogs and burgers both days (cash only).

We have ordered 18 craft ales and 12 ciders from across Kent, Surrey and Sussex plus Pimms and more. The ales and ciders will be chilled using professional chillers.

Branded, reusable plastic glasses will be available from the Railway Shop for just £3.50 each.

Please note, Captain Jack Sparrow will not be attending on the Sunday, as we will have another day of live music instead.

The bands on the DS Smith Stage

This year we have 10 bands over the two days, Tracy T will be hosting with DJ Nat S so there’s no break in the entertainment. For the first time, we will also have professional sound equipment to allow for quick changeovers and the best sound quality possible – stay late to see the lights in an action too! This year’s excellent bands are:

  • Marvellous Mo and The Backline Ferrets
  • Cakehole
  • Sophie Tuck-Brown
  • Camden Shades
  • Weekend Play
  • Looking Back
  • Lavinia
  • The Mcartney Project
  • Bourne ‘n’ Bred
  • Echo 90
  • Jason Allen
  • More Than Human – UK

A massive thank you to DS Smith for providing the stage (and all the other things they do for us!), the bands, F1 Sound Co. for providing the PA & Sound Technician, DJ Nat S and host Tracy T for organising the bands and providing entertainment between bands.
