Behind the Scenes Day

Find out how we rely on volunteers to operate and maintain the Railway and see behind the scenes. We’ll show you around the engine shed and sidings and explain our plans for the Railway.

This is a good opportunity to see how you can help us too!

Timetable

• Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
• Trains depart Kemsley Down at 12.35pm, 1.35pm, 2.35pm, 3.35pm & 4.45pm.

2026 Return Fares

• £10 for adults
• £5 for children (3-15)
• Infants aged under 3 travel free
• £9 for senior citizens
• £27 for families (2 adults and 4 children)
• Other fares available
