Trains running every Wednesday and more trains on Sundays until the end of August

The school holidays are here so we are running trains hourly 1-4pm on Wednesdays and Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm until the end of August.

This month (August)

  • Wednesday 21st – green timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
  • Sunday 25th – orange timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm – please note there is a long gap between the 12.30pm departure and 1.35pm return trip
  • Monday 26th – orange timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm – please note there is a long gap between the 12.30pm departure and 1.35pm return trip
  • Wednesday 28th – green timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
  • Saturday 31st – Model Bus Federation (Kent Area) Model Transport Event – 10am-4pm, Northfleet Schools for Girls, Hall Road, Northfleet, Kent, DA11 8AQ

Next month (September)

  • Sunday 1st – green timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
  • Sunday 8th – green timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
  • Sunday 15th – green timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
  • Sunday 22nd – green timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
  • Saturday 28th – Gala Weekend – a special timetable will be in operation
  • Sunday 29th – Gala Weekend – a special timetable will be in operation

On days in bold underline, ‘Premier’ is scheduled to be the locomotive of the day.

On days in bold, ‘Premier’ and one of our diesel locomotives (shown as *) will be hauling trains.

A small number of tickets are available for pre-booking on each train from Sittingbourne Viaduct – click on the button below or call the TicketSource hotline on 0333 663366. There is no need to pre-book, this option is for those who feel more secure having done so. There is a small booking fee for booking through TicketSource.

Photo of the Week

Wow! What an event Pirate Day was – thanks to everyone who came along! That was the first time in many years that we had so many passengers arrive for the first train so sorry if you had an uncomfortable ride. It was great to see so many young pirate come to see Captain Jack Sparrow – next year we hope to have Sheppey Pirates with us too so the day will really go for with a bang!
